On behalf of the students and staff of Dyerburg High School, I want to welcome you to our website. Dyersburg High School has a rich tradition of serving the students in and around the Dyersburg area. Our school motto is "Excellence through Commitment" and we strive to put these words into practice. The Mission Statement of our school is included on the Dyersburg High School Homepage.

Recognized as a "National School of Excellence" in 1991, Dyersburg High School has a strong academic program due to the commitment and dedication of our school board, administration, and staff. Besides strong core academic subjects, our fine arts, vocational and co-curricular programs are recognized for excellence in our region and state.

We encourage our students to take part in co-curricular activities. We have over twenty five clubs and organizations ranging from academic related clubs to our volunteer club. Our athletic program is one of the few in West Tennessee that offers all of the sports which are sanctioned by the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association. Our Academic Reward System is one of the most unique and extensive reward programs among high schools.

Our greatest strength is our staff and students. We feel a large part of our obligation toward students is to provide opportunities for them which will give them a solid academic foundation and teach them to be productive citizens.
