Farming:  Then and Now

Students will first research items on economic impact, equipment, and technology used in farming in today's world using various search engines on the Internet.  As a group, the students will select the top ten changes the area has seen in the last fifty years.  Two people will then work on one topic.  Students will then write a list of 10 to 20 questions of what they need to find out about their topic.  In addition to research, students may interview local farmers to more information.  The final product will be a comparison
contrast five paragraph expository essay.
